The Bastø ferry operating between Moss and Horten carries 2.5 million people
annually. There are three ferries operating. Departure each half-hour from Moss and Horten. Crossing time is 30
minutes.

Best Western Horten Hotell is located in Horten city, an hour's drive south of Oslo. The hotel is situated at the quay, where the ferry from Moss docks. The hotel is also centrally located in relation to the town’s facilities.

Golf Course, 27-hole internationally ranked course. The course is set up for experienced and beginning golfers alike.

Edvard Munch's House, is Åsgårdstrand's biggest attraction. It was here that Edvard Munch lived and found the inspiration for so many of his famous paintings. It was in 1889 that Edvard Munch (1863-1944) spent the first of many summers in Åsgårdstrand. In 1897 he bought a spartan fisherman's cottage built at the end of the 18th century.

Norske Løve is the name of a 19th century fortress built from 1852 to 1859 to protect Karljohansvern naval station in Horten in Norway. Its name is a reference to the Coat of Arms of Norway. The fort is still a military area.
